• Pan ERP Management Reporting System

We designed and deployed a database system in a Ship Repair and Support Services business to bring together disparate data streams sourced from multiple ERP and vertical sector systems. This provided a central Management Information repository during migration to a new business-wide ERP system.

• Business Process and IT Systems Health Check

An international Property development organisation engaged Elara-XT to conduct a review of its IT systems and assess their fitness for purpose in supporting the primary business processes. We summarised our findings in a Red/Amber/Green matrix that indicated fitness for purpose and business impact. Our proposed list of actions and implementation plan was adopted and led to a suite of projects to address the primary issues identified.

• Business process and organisational restructuring

Elara-XT was engaged to assess the effectiveness of the organisational structure of this multi-stream mobile telephone distribution company and its ability to meet the increasing challenges and opportunities of the mobile telephony sector. Our recommendations to reduce the number of business units and move from product to customer focus were accepted and the organization experienced a period of record revenues and profits.

• Analyst WorkBench and Report Generation Tool

Elara-XT developed a reporting utility package to integrate with a System Security Scanning system to enable the analysis of scan results and the generation of security vulnerability reports for the client.

• Mobile Telecoms Company Strategic Review

A strategic review was conducted of the company’s business processes and supporting IT systems prior to embarking on a massive sales expansion plan, resulting a report of recommendations to the Chief Executive. We provided an interim manager to project manage and lead this work.
